"Fluorocarbons are used as a feedstock, as a refrigerant, as a solvent and as a blowing agent of plastic foam. The Sector Groups main objective is to monitor the constantly changing legislation related to the environment and CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons), HCFCs (hydro chlorofluorocarbons), HFCs (hydro fluorocarbons), PFCs (perfluorinated carbons) and SF6 (sulphur hexafluoride) in the EU."
